White Chocolate Dessert Popcorn Recipe
I love popcorn and I have been eating quit a lot of it, but, it was all microwavable popcorn. Those have a lot preservatives in them and they are so high in calories. So, I was talking to my friend Shannon who loves popcorn too but she pops it herself at home. So I decided to try popping the kernels myself, which I have to admit I was very scared to do.
But once the popcorn is popped, it doesn't taste like much, so, I have been experimenting with different flavours and I came up with this white chocolate recipe that I just can't stop eating.
1/2 Cup of Popcorn Kernels
2 Tablespoon of Oil
1/2 Cup of White Chocolate
Salt to taste
Pop the popcorn according to the package instructions. It usually involves a medium pan on medium high heat, add oil, put the kernels in, cover and wait for the popping to begin. Once its done popping, put it into a bowl and add some salt to taste. Put it aside. Take the white chocolate and place them into a small bowl and put it in the microwave for 20 seconds, take it out and stir, place it back in the microwave and a few more seconds. Keep an eye on it. Once it is fully melted place the chocolate on the popcorn a spoon full at a time and mix. Do this until there is no more chocolate.
